has now closed its virtual space and the interactive google doc. The blog nevertheless can still be visited, please refer to www.galeriepostel.de/state-of-the-art-2021 and please do not hesitate to contact us in case of any questions!State of the art is an annual digital exposition format by galerie postel. Initiated in 2020 its first edition showed recent works by the gallery’s artists. The 2021 edition takes the situation into focus: After a long period of social distancing due to the pandemic situation galerie postel has invited six artist to produce a work in collaboration or dialogue with a partner of their choice. Artist working in sculpture, performance or conceptual art joined artists usually working in the field of photography, performance or painting, new media were experimented in, people who had known each other for ages collaborated for the first time, some joined in the production of one single work and others united different approaches to comment and discover similarities where a superficial approach would have found none. In dialogue and collaboration you enter unknown terrain, leave comfort zones and discover a new side to yourself and your art. STATE OF THE ART 2021 Dialogues and Collaborations invites everyone to enter this new territory of communication.
