Sylvia Henze (*1962, Hamburg) works in conceptual art with a strong focus on political topics. Media range from sculpture and ceramics to installation, video and photography. Residencies and art projects she conducted in Hungary, the US and Greece have influenced her work. Sylvia Henze lives and works in Hamburg, where she also follows her political vocation as head of the NGO „Ateliers für die Kunst“ and speaker of „Arbeitsgruppe bildende Kunst“.
