Simon Halfmeyer (*1974) studied art at Muthesius Hochschule, Kiel, from 1999 onward, then from 2001 at HBK Braunschweig with Bogomir Ecker and Raimund Kummer, with whom he finished his master class. In 2000 he became member of „Prima Kunst“ e.V. and in 2006 Co-founder of „Cluster-Berlin“. In 2014 Halmeyer became assistant teacher at the Alanus Hochschule für Kunst und Gesellschaft at Alfter / Bonn, where he teaches since 2019. He lives and works at Düsseldorf.
